Wow! real Labour policies helping the most disadvantaged groups in our borough. What am I talking about you might ask? Independent inspectors, Ofsted, have awarded North East Lincolnshire Council’s Children’s Social Care Service a “good” rating in the latest inspection. The Council is one of only four other councils in the country with the highest levels of deprivation in their population to be judged Good - a significant achievement. An achievement well worth talking about.
Obviously Ros James(portfolio Holder for the Council) and Ray Oxby(leader) are extremely pleased. Ros saying “The Council has achieved this landmark judgement through a commitment to service improvement and putting the child at the heart of service delivery."Ray chipped in with:-“It’s a very good report for North East Lincolnshire, and proves that the work that the service has been concentrating on, particularly to target early interventions, is paying off.”
A Hearty well done to the Labour lead Council and well done Ros and Ray!!!
