I have held over a hundred surgeries since becoming your MP- helping people with issues on anything from housing, welfare, taxes, the justice system or any other issues they have.

 

When the US firm Concentrix wrongly stopped paying tax credits to local people who relied on them to live, I took up their cases and helped secure tens of thousands of pounds in repayments.

 

When Bovill House was threatened with closure I met with residents, lobbied Shoreline Housing to reverse their plans, and helped keep Bovill House open.

 

When the local welfare assessment centre closed, forcing disabled claimants in Great Grimsby to travel over 90 minutes to Scunthorpe, Hull or Gainsborough, I got the centre reopened in Great Grimsby and the money that had wrongly been stopped paid back to those who needed it.
