pay and display

Pay and display parking machines across the borough will cease to accept the old £1 coin from Friday.

From Friday 29 September the old coins will no longer be accepted by Council-owned pay and display parking machines at car parks across the borough.

The round £1 coin, which has been in circulation for over 34 years, is currently being withdrawn from circulation and ceases to officially be legal tender at midnight on 15 October 2017.

So remember to raid your piggy banks and spend spend spend!
